SAD DAY
I never thought this day would come. I have found ice cream that I dont like. We are in Europe right now and having an amazing time. We were first in London and Ill share more pictures and stories later, but In London I was walking with Gabe and saw a sign for ice cream. Now anyone who knows me knows I can eat ice cream all day long. I purchased a cone and it did not taste good at all. I kept eating hoping that the next bite would satisfy me but nope still had a funny taste. The next day I thought I would try a mc donalds milkshake and again it still had a funny taste. London ice cream not that great. Now we are in Rome. All I kept hearing about is how amazing Geletto or Italian ice cream was. So I begged Gabe to stop. He ordered and then I did. We just asked for a cone of cherry and one of strawberry and what we got was like four scoops with five waffers off it , two little cones, a cookie and a little tassle thing at the top. Gabe was like whoa its a circus on my cone. It gets better, so we go up to pay and it was a ridiculous price and Gabe didnt have enough cash and they wouldnt take a card. So he had to go down the street to the atm, while I stood and held these creations. All was good until they started melting and running down my arms. This other group of americans even took a picture of this amazing sight. I went and sat down still holding the dripping cones which by now I am trying to lick but they continue to drip on me and the table. Finanlly one of the italian workers comes over and puts a little plate down and some napkins and trys to wipe my hand off for me. It was so funny. Gabe finnally made it back in time to eat the last scoop of his ice cream. What an experience. I told gabe never in our life will eat ice cream this expensive good thing it had a good story with it. I cant wait to eat good old american ice cream, you can bet where we are stopping on the way home from the airport next week.

Bon Voyage
And we are off!!! Gabe and I leave bright and early in the morning and arrive in London on Sunday morning. I am so excited I practiced packing my bag all week then last night I walked around the house with it on. If you want to get a girl to pack lighter for a trip tell her she has to carry her bag for two weeks. I decided mine was a little too heavy so I sadly parted with a few outfits. Gabe and I are just taking these two backpacks because its cheaper and easier to travel. We will be ruffing it, but it will be all worth it. I have been exhausted all week I think it is more mental than physical with all the emotions that go along with leaving the country for two weeks with just a bag on your back. I am anxious, excited, nervious and little scared. I know it will be an amazing experience and a lot of fun. I wish I could bring everyone I know, but I will take a lot of pictures and I am sure I will have plenty of stories to tell.

Yeah for new couches. These babies are so comfortable, maybe next time Gabe and I fight I'll just go out and sleep on the couch instead of sending Gabe. (I've never actually made Gabe sleep on the couch I'm a sweet wife). They are that microfiber material, so soft. I worried at first that they are kind of light and I live with a giant kid, but they gave us lifetime supply of cleaner and a 5 year warrenty. So I think we will be okay. I love the brown and the stripped pillows, they add a little character. My very favorite is the round chair. It fits me perfectly and it spins. AWESOME!!! Its so comfy. I love love love it. We also got the curtians, I wanted to add color and these are blue with brown design so it matches perfectly. And we added a blue tinted painting of London to bring the blue into the room. We are put pictures of us in Europe up below the London painting. Thankyou HGTV and TLC for teaching me decorating tips. My house is starting to come together. It feels more home like and not so much college apartment. I like feeling grown up its fun.

WIN WIN? I'm Not Sure
Well we got cable. I'm not sure if Its a win win situation or a win lose. Now I love TV. I am excited to watch TLC and HGTV and don't forget about lifetime and the discovery channel. But I might have lost my husband to his second love, ESPN and all those other sports channels; which in my opinion there are way too many. Why must we watch every team of every sport. Now anybody who knows Gabe, knows he is not good at multitasking. This boy can't even eat and watch TV at the same time and never let him drive somewhere new while on the cell phone. In the news the other month there was a story about a women who never left the bathroom. The toilet seat was actually stuck to her rear end because she sat on it for months straight without ever getting up. Now I hope this cannot happen with a couch cushion because I am afraid that Gabe will never get up from the couch now that he has Direct TV. So here's how cable might be a win win, I now longer have to hear Gabe complain. I get to watch some good channels. Win lose, I might never get Gabe to get up and help around the house. Sports are always going to be on the TV. So in conclusion I guess things are going to stay exactly the same.

I Guess We're Getting Cable
So when we moved to Lubbock I told Gabe that I didn't want to get cable. Our apartment somehow got ESPN by just plugging the cord in the wall so Gabe didn't complain much. When we moved into our new house ESPN didn't come in. I made a deal with Gabe that when he got a job then we would get cable. Lets just say Gabe had more than one break down. Well he finally got a job today. As much as I don't want to pay for cable I guess I have to keep my end of the bargin. Of course Gabe wants Dish or Direct TV all this other stuff so we might have to make another deal. I am kind of looking forward to TLC and a few other channels I haven't watched in a while. I definately am not looking forward to ESPN on all day. Good thing we have 2 TVs.
